NORTHVILLE, Mich.—Cooper Standard Automotive Inc. has added two executives to its team, as Rebecca McCabe and Linda Conrad have been named vice president, chief accounting officer; and vice president, corporate controller, respectively.
The appointments were effective Aug. 27.
McCabe and Conrad will work out of Northville, where the company's headquarters are located. Jonathan Banas, executive vice president and chief financial officer, oversees both positions.
"I am very proud of our depth of talent and ability to immediately execute this succession plan in our finance leadership," said Banas. "Congratulations to Becky and Linda. We believe their exceptional backgrounds and recent achievements with Cooper Standard make them ideal fits for these incredibly important leadership roles."
Specifically, McCabe, who was promoted from her previous role as vice president of global internal audit, will oversee Cooper Standard's accounting and financial reporting, as well as SEC reporting.
McCabe, who previously worked for ZF TRW, Ally Financial and Ford Motor Co., started with Cooper Standard in 2016.
Conrad will oversee global financial planning and an analysis center of excellence as corporate controller, and will retain her responsibilities from her previous role as vice president of finance for the Advanced Materials Science segment.
She was hired by Cooper Standard in 2014 and previously worked for Plasan Carbon Composites, Visteon, TRW and Ford, with two decades in the industry overall.
Peter Brusate, vice president, chief accounting officer and corporate controller since June 2017, has left the company.
Cooper Standard supplies sealing and fluid handling systems and components, with about 25,000 employees and locations across the globe.
