FORT MILL, S.C.—Continental Tire the Americas has promoted Rob Schroeder to head of region for U.S. and Canada to oversee material handling, port, earthmoving and agriculture tires.
Schroeder, currently senior manager of operations, marketing and analytics, will take over his new role April 1, succeeding Andrew Davis, who left the company.
Schroeder will report directly to Constantin Batsch, who heads global sales and operations for specialty tires.
Schroeder joined Continental in 2013 and has been a part of its truck tire and commercial specialty tires business for years.
"Rob has been an integral part of Continental for more than 10 years, consistently demonstrating exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of our company's values and objectives. He exemplifies the qualities, strategic thinking, and vision necessary to lead our sales efforts within the region," Batsch said.
