SUWANNE, Ga.—Chiorino America, a supplier of a variety of belting products, has named Gregg Hanson as its next president.
Hanson will take the role Dec. 18, succeeding and reporting to Bert Flieger, who will continue to lead the company as CEO.
"After tremendous growth in recent years, Chiorino America is embarking on an ambitious new strategic plan that will include significant investments in sales, product development, fabrication capabilities and expanded capacity," Flieger said. "We are confident that Gregg, with the support of his team in the U.S. and our headquarters in Italy, will bring Chiorino to new levels of success in North America."
Hanson has more than two decades of experience in belting and sales, previously working as a belting product specialist, national sales manager, and as vice president and director.
He has led management teams in lightweight belting and conveying, and "understands distribution in the North American market," Flieger stated in a LinkedIn post about the hire.
Hanson has been active with NIBA-The Belting Association, serving as a lightweight belting trainer, marketing committee chair, and director-at-large for the organization.
