AKRON—Smithers has hired Chad Atzemis as a senior consultant to lead its expansion into additional markets.
Atzemis comes from Lianda Corp., where he served as chief operating officer.
Prior to that, he spent 17 years in leadership roles focused on technical services and business development in rubber, plastic and color additive applications.
"Chad has an incredibly impressive track record of turning strategic product and process improvements in business results," said Josh Guilliams, vice president of consultancy in the Smithers Materials Science and Engineering Division. "His innovative thinking will be a tremendous asset to any client who comes to us in search of new insights and technical guidance."
