SEREGNO, Italy—Off-highway tire manufacturer Balkrishna Industries (BKT) has hired industry veteran Ludovic Revel to be its president Global OEM.
Revel will be tasked with strengthening BKT's growth strategy in the OEM channel and consolidating BKT's brand visibility among global stakeholders.
With three decades worth of OTR experience, Revel will lead a dedicated team whose goal is to expand BKT's OEM channel, exploring new markets, new business and development opportunities, the Indian tire maker said.

Revel will report directly to Lucia Salmaso, managing director of BKT Europe. Prior to this he was president, North & Central America, for Yokohama TWS, for 14 months and prior to that spent 24 years with Trelleborg Wheel Systems S.p.A. in various managemetn positions. He started his career in 1997 with Pirelli & C. S.p.A.
Rajiv Poddar, joint managing director at BKT, said Ludovic will help to drive the company's OEM strategy.

He said the focus will be on building long-term relationships with OEMs, "leveraging on common vision, as well as on an open and transparent dialogue, which will drive the customer satisfaction and company's success in the global OEM channel."
