MAUMEE, Ohio—Sanyu USA Inc., the North American arm of the rubber injection molding machinery company Sanyu, has a new president.
The company promoted Mark Beaver to the role, citing his previous experience as vice president. Prior to his appointment as vice president in 2014, Beaver served as sales and market manager at Sanyu USA for eight years.
"This appointment follows his 18 years of service to the company, during which he played a significant role in expanding the company's footprint, forging strategic partnerships and providing technical service to existing customers," the company said.
During his tenure Beaver helped expand the company's corporate portfolio and footprint. This includes an office move and showroom additions in Maumee, Ohio.
Beaver takes over for former president Katsumi Ishida, who held the position for 14 years. While Ishida stepped down, he remains with the company in an advisory capacity to ensure a smooth transition.
"It has been an honor to serve under Mr. Ishida's leadership," Beaver said. "I am deeply committed to leading the company into an exciting new chapter."
