LUDWIGSHAFEN, Germany—The supervisory board of BASF S.E. has extended the terms of three executive board members: Saori Dubourg, Markus Kamieth and Wayne T. Smith.
The trio's appointments, BASF said, originally were scheduled to expire in 2020.
While Dubourg and Kamieth's terms have been extended until 2025, Smith's appointment has been extended by two years to 2022.
Dubourg is responsible for agricultural solutions, construction chemicals and bioscience research, as well as the region of Europe. Kamieth is responsible for the divisions dispersions and pigments, care chemicals, nutrition and health, performance chemicals, advanced materials and systems research, BASF new business and the region South America. Both have been BASF board members since 2017.
Smith, who has been a member of BASF's board of executive directors since 2012, is the chairman and chief executive officer of BASF Corp. responsible for monomers, performance materials, process research and chemical engineering, market and business development, site and Verbund management North America, as well as regional functions & country platforms North America.
