"We are thrilled to announce the promotions of Nicole Hershberger and Katie Kelley," ARDL said in a release. "Their dedication and initiative have proven to be valuable assets to the growth and success of ARDL, benefiting both the company and its employees."
Hershberger's expertise is in polymers, as well as the various markets and industries associated with rubber.
Kelley "will be instrumental in expanding ARDL's reach within the rubber and plastics industry" and the local community.
Kelley has nine years of experience as an LPN, in addition to her background and previous work in real estate.
"Our conversations with clients, customers and the community have revealed a common theme—surprise at the breadth of ARDL's capabilities," the testing lab stated. "Our goal with the promotions of Nicki and Katie is to help address this issue by showcasing the full range of services we offer, not necessarily an individual department or test method."
ARDL notes that a single test is of minimal value, but in conjunction with other testing methods, the totality of the research contributes to production of a great product or material.
The structure of the organization mimics this leverage, as individual labs may not reach a solution, but together, the ARDL team has seen great success over a six decade run.
"When I saw the wheels separately turning in both Nicki and Katie's heads, I knew I had to put the two of them together," said ARDL CEO Tim Samples. "They work so well together and are very complementary to one another. I know they will accomplish anything they set out to do."
The two promotions are part of a larger organizational restructuring intended to streamline the customer experience.
