MAASTRICHT, Netherlands—UTECH Europe 2021 has been rescheduled from September to Nov. 16-18. The venue, the MECC in Maastricht is unchanged.
"We are committed to staging a vibrant UTECH Europe in 2021 to provide the polyurethanes industry with a much-needed platform to recapture lost opportunities, identify new business opportunities and re-engage with industry associates, friends and colleagues," said Debbie Hershfield, trade show director at organizer Crain Communications. "Taking into account feedback from our stakeholders, it feels right to take this early decision to postpone UTECH Europe until later in the year."
The conference originally was scheduled for April, but was postponed to September last summer.
"As good as we felt about hosting UTECH Europe in September, we believe this move to November will fill exhibitors, speakers and attendees with more confidence that they will see the UTECH Europe they've come to expect," Hershfield said.
UTECH Europe is the only truly international exhibition and conference for the polyurethanes industry and typically attracts visitors from more than 80 countries. When last held in 2018, the triennial UTECH Europe attracted more than 200 exhibiting companies and a total footfall over three days of 10,113. Over 90 percent of exhibition space for the event has already been sold.
