DORKING, England—Organizers of Tire Technology Expo are canceling the industry conference and expo this year due to the global pandemic but plan to hold it again in April 2022.
TTE organizer UKI Media previously had moved the dates for TTE 2021 from early March to June 8-10, 2021, due to the continuing COVID-19 crisis.
However, with the world health crisis continuing and no possibility of an international turnout, "the decision not to run Tire Technology Expo this year has become inevitable," TTE founder Tony Robinson said, noting that his company looked at various possibilities, including utilizing a semi-open-air facility for some shows in 2021, before deciding to cancel.
The event will next take place on April 5-7, 2022, in Hanover, Germany, "with the same layout, exactly as we have run in recent years."
The TTE has been held annually since 2000.
