CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio—Rubber & Plastics News will be hosting a Livestream April 22, titled "The Automotive Market: Living Through the Pandemic."
RPN Editor Bruce Meyer and Reporter Catherine Kavanaugh will bring viewers up to date on what the COVID-19 outbreak means to the auto market and the companies that supply it. Their discussion will touch on current plans for auto makers' assembly operations; dealing with dropping demand; updates on layoffs among automotive suppliers; and what some companies are doing to switch gears in an effort to help out where needed to help fight the pandemic.
The Livestream also will include a section on the ongoing evolution in the market toward electric and autonomous vehicles and what that means to those supplying the industry.
