LONDON—The International Rubber Conference Organization has set new dates for IRC2020, which was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Organized by the Indian Rubber Institute, the event, which will be themed around sustainable technology, innovation and mobility, will be held April 15-17, 2021, in Chennai, India.
IRC2020 originally was set to be held in October 2020.
RubberCon2020, which is a smaller and more specialized event, has also been postponed. Organized by the French rubber association AFICEP, the conference was to be held June 4-5 in Paris with focus on environment and recycling. RubberCon organizers still are working to determine new arrangements for the conference.
Both the IRC and RubberCon events are held within the framework of IRCO, an association of rubber societies from around the world.
