COLOGNE, Germany—Lanxess A.G. is postponing its upcoming annual shareholders meeting as COVID-19 continues to rapidly spread in Germany, the company said.
The meeting originally was scheduled for May 13 in Cologne, but now will take place at an undetermined later date.
"The protection of the health of employees, stockholders and the service providers involved was the primary consideration in this decision. By postponing the event, Lanxess wants to help contain the spread of the virus," the specialty chemicals company said in a statement.
