GREENVILLE, S.C.—Michelin has canceled the Movin'On Summit, scheduled for June 3-5 in Montreal, due to the global COVID-19 crisis.
Michelin's Movin'On organizing team, supported by local partner C2, "is working on alternative scenarios," which the company hopes to provide details on soon.
The emphasis of any alternative event "will be placed on the development of communities of interest in the ecosystem, which despite the situation, will continue to work on concrete solutions for sustainable mobility."
The Movin'On Summit—which is dedicated to the concept of sustainable mobility and spurring a move from ambition to action—has been held in Montreal since 2017.
Among the speakers scheduled to appear at the 2020 event were John Kerry, former U.S. secretary of state and a U.S. senator
