MUNICH—Wacker A.G. will unveil a variety of liquid and solid silicone rubber grades in 2019.
The firm intends to present a variety of silicone elastomers at K 2019 show, to be held Oct. 16-23 in Duesseldorf, Germany, including fire-resistant silicone elastomers, self-adhesive silicone rubber grades and ultrathin silicone laminates for electroactive applications.
The firm's Elastosil LR 5040 product line allows users to skip the post-curing process, saving time and money. Wacker's Elastosil R 771 meets current fire safety codes and enables manufacturers to produce rolling stock components.
Wacker also expanded its portfolio of self-adhesive LSRs by adding Elastosil LR 3671 for the food contact industry and Elastosil LR 3675 for automotive applications.
Finally, the company's Nexipal is a laminate with electroactive properties and consists of several ultrathin precision silicone films.
