CHANDLER, Ariz.—Rogers Corp. is out with what the company is calling "a next generation natural sponge solution designed to address slippage and skidding issues."
Griswold GripON was created to reduce noise, minimize vibration and eliminate the risk of scratching while providing stability and resistance to address sliding challenges in many applications, including electronics, furniture, automotive and appliances, the company said.
The adhesive-backed, pressure-sensitive products meet the spacing and stability needs for many applications, the company said.
Griswold GripON uses a natural rubber formulation that the company said provides a high coefficient of friction and comes with a film backing. Converters can apply their own pressure-sensitive adhesive. The black sponge material comes in 18-, 9- and 4.5-inch widths that can then be cut to desired shapes.
