BUCHEN, Germany—MonTech GmbH has introduced a new automated version of its CP 3000 rubber and bale cutter, one that requires almost no interaction from the user.
According to MonTech, which manufactures its rheometers, vicosimeters and fatigue testers (among many other instruments) in Germany and maintains its American headquarters in Indiana, the automated bale cutter is built to strict safety standards and is more efficient.
The user can set the number of slices to be cut, speed and sizes to be cut. The machine employs tunnel guards and light curtains, among other safety options, MonTech said.
The bale cutting system is compatible with "mixer systems, bale handling vacuums, robotic depalletizers and other conveyor systems," MonTech said.
