BUCHEN, Germany—MonTech GmbH continues to add to its rubber testing instrument product line, offering new customizable options for its LP 3000 hydraulic lab press series.
"MonTech continues to put product advancements at the forefront of its mission," the company said in an April 6 news release. "Instrument trends come and go, and in many industry circumstances, the engineering remains the same. To meet the growing demand of new lab presses, MonTech has applied advanced technologies into their designs to further solidify their standing as the leader in rubber lab press engineering."
Product testing instruments offered by MonTech include rheometers (both MDR and RPA), Mooney viscometers and rubber lab presses.
New options for MonTech's rubber lab presses include the ability to create appropriate samples for testing, during which uniform temperatures are necessary, especially for sensitive materials.
"The combination of the press structure with heating systems, hydraulic systems, position measurement and safety devices come into play to further prove the robustness of press engineering," MonTech said. "Only the highest quality components are used in MonTech presses to ensure all systems work in unison to produce the most uniform results, applying automation when necessary."
Platen options include custom sizes with more heating zones; wider temperature ranges; and timed cycle counters. Hydraulic options include increased cylinder stroke and electronically controlled gauges for noise reduction. Mechanical options include custom tie rods; sliding platens; work tables; and ejection systems.
Electical options include data interface systems; light curtains; and alarm options. MonTech offers various safety choices as well.
Moreover, 100- and 150-ton options have been added to the LP 3000 product lineup, for use in plastic, composite and resin applications.
