KEMP, Texas—Larson Electronics debuted the IL-LED-27R-M-1227 portable LED light, a portable 27-watt LED light with a magnetic base and a 2,160-lumen output.
The light provides a 30,000-hour service life, running on 120-277 volts AC with a low amp draw, according to a Larson release.
It includes an in-line transformer, which takes 120-277 volt AC current from standard wall outlets, stepping it down to the 12-volt DC needed to power the light. It draws 27 watts at 0.225 amps from a 120 volt electrical system, and includes nine high-output 3-watt LEDS, arranged in a circle. Each produces 240 lumens and are paired with high purity optics to produce a 30 degree flood beam.
The unit, which has lights that are IP67 waterproof and sealed against dust and dirt, can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40ºF to 185°F and is waterproof up to 9.84 feet. The housings are made from extruded diecast aluminum with polycarbonate lenses, and the unit has one foot of 16/3 SOOW cord fitted with an industrial grade cord cap. It can be mounted to flat surfaces, and comes with brackets that attach the light to the magnetic base for both horizontal and vertical placement.
