HOUSTON—Automation Products Inc.'s Dynatrol brand has introduced its CL-10GPT proportional level detector, which is made to monitor liquid levels in pilot plants, processing and small vessels to manage proportional level control over a precise range.
The firm's EC-103C(G) control unit is paired with the detector to activate DC current devices such as electro-pneumatic transducers, valve positioners and indicators, according to a company release.
Together, they sense and regulate a precise liquid level range through a high-resolution, proportional output signal, it said.
The separate control unit allows installation in any location, according to Dynatrol. The detector is mounted through a 0.75 inch half-coupling at the point of desired level detection without flanges, float chamber or fittings. Both the detector and control unit operate on either a 50Hz or 60 Hz power supply. They work under varying frequency power supplies or process conditions such as high pressures and high temperatures.
The units are built in accordance with Class I, Group D; Class II, Groups E, F and G; and Class III services, Dynatrol said.
