SOUTHFIELD, Mich.—The Original Equipment Suppliers Association's Board of Directors has appointed Jon Husby to an open vice chairman seat. The vacancy was created when Francoise Colpron, group president, Valeo North America, was elected as chair of the OESA board.
Ken Hopkins, president and CEO, Neapco Holdings, L.L.C., also serves as vice chairman of the OESA board.
Husby, president and CEO of SEG Automotive, was elected to the OESA board in 2019. Throughout his career and during his term with OESA, he has proven to be a valuable advocate, according to Julie A. Fream, OESA president and CEO.
"We are excited that the board has elected Jon as vice chairman of the board of directors," Fream said in a statement. "Jon has been a long-time advocate of the industry and supporter of OESA's mission."
OESA is dedicated to supporting the business interests of automotive original equipment suppliers through advocacy efforts throughout the supply chain and in Washington. It is one of four divisions of the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association, and is represented by MEMA's advocacy and emerging technology expertise.
