LOSSBURG, Germany—Injection molding press maker Arburg GmbH + Co. is reassuring customers in the United Kingdom that they will continue to receive support regardless of what happens during the Brexit process.
The plastic injection molding machine specialist, which is based in Lossburg and has U.K. offices in Warwick, England, has issued assurances from company owners that there will be no major changes to business operations, whether the U.K. stays in or leaves the European Union.
The release states that while there are many details still to be clarified with regard to Brexit, the company wanted to reassure existing and potential customers that it will be "business as usual," no matter the process outcome.
"Arburg has always taken a long-term view with every strategic step we have taken over the years," company officials said in a statement. "We will continue to support our customers in the same proven way in the U.K. and Ireland."
The statement comes as a series of companies, both directly plastics-related and across the wider business landscape, have announced plans to reduce or wholly withdraw from the U.K., primarily due to the negative implications of the country leaving the European Union.
