NEU-ISENBURG, Germany—Hankook Tire has teamed up with Rinspeed on its microSnap concept car, an electric, autonomous vehicle designed with interchangeable bodies and chassis.
Rinspeed's concept vehicle, which debuted at the Geneva International Motor Show 2019, is a micro vehicle system that allows for transport of passengers and goods. The body and the chassis easily can be changed, allowing the vehicle to meet immediate transportation needs. The microSnap features a chassis with an electric drive and variable superstructures, including a robotized change station.
Hankook will supply the micro vehicle with its flagship-UHP Ventus S1 evo line in the size 195/40R17.
