BOISBRIAND, Quebec—Elasto Proxy Inc., a distributor and custom fabricator of industrial rubber products, is moving its Newmarket, Ontario, branch to a new, larger facility.
The move, scheduled for mid-March, more than doubles the size of the company's location, John Rye, branch manager for Newmarket, said in a company news release.
The expansion also will allow Elasto Proxy to keep more customer products on hand, and remain close to major transportation corridors, he said.
The company's Newmarket branch serves Ontario, the western provinces of Canada and states in the northern U.S. from Ohio to Washington. The larger location will also support the growth of its Montreal-area headquarters in Boisbriand, Elasto Proxy said. Instead of storing some of Newmarket's products in Boisbriand, the company will have more space available for operations including manufacturing.
Elasto Proxy specializes in the custom fabrication of low-to-medium volume quantities of rubber seals, gaskets and insulation for industries including defense, aerospace, mobile equipment and medical. The company is ISO 9001:2015 and AS9011D certified, and has branches in Newmarket, Ontario, Simpsonville, S.C., and Sint-Niklaas, Belgium.
