CHICAGO—The PTDA Foundation is accepting nominations for this year's recipient of the Wendy B. McDonald Award.
Nominations for the award, which recognizes a woman who has established herself as an integral contributor to her company's success and brought positive industry change, will be accepted through June 14, according to a PTDA news release.
Nominees must be females employed by a PTDA member company within the calendar year for which the nomination is being made. They also must exemplify leadership and integrity in all business relationships. No criteria is given with respect to title, position in the company or years of experience.
The criteria and nomination form are available at www.ptda.org/WBMcDonaldAward. The award will be presented at the PTDA Industry Summit Oct. 25 in Austin, Texas.
The 2018 recipient of the award was Ellen Holladay of Motion Industries Inc. Previous recipients include Tribby Warfield, formerly of Kaman Industrial Technologies Corp.; Linda Miller, of B&D Industrial; Elizabeth Moon of Kaman Industrial Technologies and Pat Wheeler of Motion Industries.
The PTDA Foundation established the award in 2014 to honor the memory of Wendy B. McDonald.
