CHICAGO—The PTDA Foundation kicked off its fund drive for 2019 with contributions of more than $137,000.
Since the beginning of the year, 58 organizations and individuals gave to the drive through the group's Vanguard Campaign, according to a PTDA news release. The fund drive's goal is $250,000 in 2019.
The funds raised this year will support the PTDA's efforts to help power transmission/motion control employers with attracting and retaining quality employees, said Brian Short, global strategic account manager at Regal Beloit America Inc. and president of the PTDA Foundation.
Companies in the Vanguard Campaign are taking a leading role in the movement to develop the support PT/MC distributors need to find, connect with and recruit for key positions in the PT/MC industry, PTDA said.
