WORCESTER, Mass.—Vystar Corp. has begun the New England soft launch of its Vytex Cloud Bed-in-a-Box.
The Vytex Cloud Bed-in-a-Box marks the mattress maker's entry into the online mattress market, which allows consumers to purchase mattresses online and have them delivered to their doors. Vystar noted that bed-in-a-box market sales grew by 60 percent in 2017 and now account for nearly 30 percent of all mattress sales.
"It is rare to see a product category explode almost overnight like bed-in-a-box has," Steve Rotman, CEO of Vystar and of Rotmans Furniture and Carpet, said in a news release. "We applied our expertise gained from decades of direct interactions with hundreds of thousands of New England consumers at Rotmans Furniture to help develop the high quality."
The Vytex Cloud Bed-in-a-Box mattresses sizes—twin, twinXL, full, queen, king or California king— are available in firm, plush or luxury plush density. The company also claims that the its products are virtually allergen- and odor-free, the direct result of its efforts to remove 99.8 percent of all latex proteins.
Vytex, the company said, also is antimicrobial, repelling bedbugs and dust mites, and is sustainably produced.
