HOGEN, Switzerland—Ana Carolina Haracemiv is Dow's new head of polyurethanes in the Europe, Middle East, Asia and India region. She replaces John Penrice who becomes president of Dow Asia Pacific.
Haracemiv, previously the commercial director for polyurethanes, Chlor Alkali & Vinyl and Industrial Solutions in Latin America, will be responsible for developing and implementing the region's business strategy and growth agenda. She also will be giving commercial leadership to the business in the region.
Penrice, now based in Hong Kong, said he is excited to take on new challenges, but noted that enjoyed running the European business.
"I have seen the business evolve and grow, and am proud to be leaving a legacy of a business that is delivering innovative solutions to customers with a strong focus on sustainability," Penrice said.
