Borealis and Borouge have expanded its Borealis Bormed-branded portfolio of polyethylene and polypropylene products with the introduction of what it says are the first controlled plastomers solution for the global health care market.
The firm said the enlargement of the Bormed portfolio to include Bormed PL8830-PH means that Borealis now has one of the largest product offerings for the global health care market.
Bormed PL8830-PH is an ethylene-based, octene-1 plastomer. Because it is a reactor polymer, the firm said it boasts the very highest and most consistent quality. Overall, it exhibits excellent purity and cleanliness. It offers enhanced compatibility with PP, easy processing, clarity, and flexibility on an elastomers level. Bormed PL8830-PH has been specifically developed to be used as a versatile blend partner along with other polyolefins in film, extrusion and molding applications.
