Rubber and plastics machinery manufacturer KraussMaffei Group is still fighting a cyber attack which hit the company Nov. 21.
In a Dec. 7 statement, the German company said it had "identified the problem" and was "working hard to eliminate it."
"Production at the affected sites, including Munich, are being ramped up step-by-step and have also been restricted during the past two weeks," KraussMaffei said.
The company added that most of its sites were not affected by the attack.
The Munich-based machinery supplier first flagged up the problem on Nov. 28, in a notification to its customers.
During the investigation, the company shut down various servers as a precautionary measure, which meant that parts of the KraussMaffei Group had limited electronic access. The attack did not hit U.S.-based Krauss-Maffei Corp.
According to German news agency DPA, attackers have made a ransom demand to the group.
