GOTHENBURG, Sweden—The first Automotive Materials Summit is set for Gothenburg in May, bringing together a host of automotive suppliers and auto makers to discuss the latest developments within the industry.
The event, organized by Plastics News Europe and Rubber & Plastics News' publisher Crain Global Polymer Group will cover three materials—plastics, polyurethanes and rubber—used by automotive OEMs.
Set to run alongside the Automotive News Europe Congress, the one-day event will be held May 23, at the Clarion Hotel Post in Gothenburg. Automotive News Europe is a sister publication of RPN and PNE.
The summit, organizers said, will provide a platform for the global polymer industry to gather information and exchange ideas about material trends, auto sales forecasting, geographic growth areas and new technologies.
