GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.—Sparks Belting Co. will expand its product line into heavy-duty conveyor belting.
Sparks will offer heavy-duty inventory and installation through D&D Belt Service, a division of Sparks located in Conyers, Ga., according to a company news release.
The combined national footprint gives Sparks the capacity to service locations across the U.S., said Tim Wallace, vice president of business development at Sparks.
The expansion is a response to customer needs, said Mike VandenAkker, technical sales manager for Sparks. Broadening product offerings gives the company the ability to serve as a single resource for customers across lightweight and heavy-duty needs.
Through D&D, Sparks can provide 1-2 day shipping on stock items, installation services and technical support, the company said.
