Video: Miller calls Louisville Rubber Division meeting a success
LOUISVILLE, Ky.—This week's ACS Rubber Division's International Elastomer Conference has been a success on all levels, according to Executive Director Ed Miller.
Attendance has been solid, the expo floor has been busy and the technical program has been strong, he said during the second day of the three-day event, complimenting both his staff and the leadership of the division.
Miller also said that the Rubber Division is nearly through with the transition of the association's headquarters to its new facility from its former home on the campus of the University of Akron.
Miller has been executive director of the Rubber Division since 2001, and is planning to retire at the end of 2019. That means the last expo under his leadership will be next fall in Cleveland, he said, the same site as his first.
