INDIANAPOLIS—The Association for Rubber Products Manufacturers has honored four companies with its 2018 Educational Outreach Awards.
Coinciding with Manufacturing Day, these awards recognize those ARPM members who have made a significant impact in the promotion of a career in rubber manufacturing. Awards this year were distributed to:
First place—Custom Rubber Corp. in Cleveland;
Second place—Blair Rubber Company in Seville, Ohio; and
Third place—ACE Products & Consulting in Ravenna, Ohio, and BRP Manufacturing Co. in Lima, Ohio.
ARPM said through strategic partnerships with schools, programs and/or students, these awardees have all made significant efforts to increase interest, raise awareness and build skills within the rubber manufacturing industry.
First and second place scholarships will be awarded in the amounts of $750 and $250 respectively, which will go to the recipient's educational institution or program of choice. ARPM congratulates the 2018 Educational Outreach Award winners and extends a special thanks to all who participated in this year's award program.
Established in 2010, ARPM is a trade association managed by rubber business leaders and has more than 90 members. The association works to provide manufacturers with bottom line impacting programs, networking, and additional beneficial services.
