NOVI, Mich.—Cooper Standard Automotive Inc. has appointed Gabrielle Corrent as its vice president of strategy and mergers and acquisitions.
She will become a member of the firm's global leadership team and report directly to Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Edwards. Corrent will lead Cooper Standard's global business development initiatives including the identification of opportunities, due diligence processes and all deal related transition and integration activities.
"Gabrielle brings with her a proven track record of leadership around integrating acquisitions and leveraging profitability," Edwards said in a statement. "It's clear that she possesses the passion, energy and expertise to help Cooper Standard further execute its M&A strategy to further drive profitable growth."
Corrent brings more than 15 years of financial and business experience to the table, serving as chief financial officer, global automotive, at Stanley Black & Decker Inc. for the last five years. From 2008-13 she held roles of increasing responsibility at Ann Inc., last serving as director of corporate finance. She began her career at Ford Motor Co. as an engineer, advancing in roles of increasing responsibility.
