AKRON—Matthews Marking Systems will exhibit its Agitating & Circulating Ink System at the International Tire Exhibition & Conference.
The ACIS product is designed to reduce the time required to clean and maintain equipment by using hazardous air pollutant-free, quick-dry, white pigmented inks that do not transfer to the rubber mold, according to a Matthews news release.
Matthews, a supplier of marking and coding solutions for the tire and tread market, offers a large character inkjet printing system developed for printing onto uncured rubber, where the ink must withstand the curing process, it said.
The firm will exhibit at Booth 326.
The International Tire Exhibition & Conference, set for Sept. 11-13 in Akron, is dedicated to exploring the latest technology and innovations behind tire design and manufacturing. Learn more at itec-tireshow.com.
