BIDFORD ON AVON, England—Adhesives and sealants manufacturer Techsil Ltd. enacted senior management changes with the completion of the full integration of M-tec Ltd., an aerospace and defense supplier it acquired last year.
In the new structure, Paul Hughes is moving to the position of group company chairman while former sales director Chris Dilley is stepping into the role of managing director, which was previously held by Hughes.
Techsil acquired M-tec in May 2017 and the two companies have now fully merged with M-tec trading under the Techsil group.
Formed in 1983 by Smiths Industries, M-tec was specifically set up to deal with the aerospace and defense market, and specializes in supplying aerospace adhesives, gaskets, o-rings, paints and lubricants.
"This is an exciting time for Techsil, our core business is growing, and we have had an exceptional year," said Dilley.
According to Dilley, with M-tec covered under the Techsil umbrella, the two companies can leverage operational benefits that were not possible when trading separately.
Based in Bidford on Avon, U.K., Techsil is a manufacturer of industrial RTV silicones, adhesives and sealants, and supplies to industries including aerospace, automotive, medical, electronics and LED lighting.
