LOUGHBOROUGH, England—Haydale, a materials group, completed the installation and commissioning of a two-roll lab mill at its Loughborough site to increase the company's product range.
The investment will allow Haydale to compound nanomaterials into elastomers to support customers using them for property improvements such as thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity and mechanical performance, according to a Haydale release.
Financial details were not disclosed.
The new capacity brings nanomaterial enhanced elastomer development in-house. The company is working on elastomers for applications including automotive tires, auto, rail and marine antivibration mounts, seals and gaskets, medical devices and latex gloves.
Haydale operates from six sites in the United Kingdom, U.S. and Asia.
