WASHINGTON—Hankook Tire America Corp. will play a big part in the MLB All-Star Game, to be played July 17 in Washington.
Hankook, the official tire of MLB, will host a booth at the event that features prizes and baseball-themed Hankook merchandise, a life-sized baseball/tire pinball game and other interactive activities.
Hankook will host a military veteran at the game as part of its relationship with the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). The tire maker is providing the veteran and guests with free tickets to the Geico All-Star FanFest and the game, then accompanying them to both events.
Hankook Tire America President Hosung Suh said the South Korean tire maker is proud to participate in the festivities.
"Just as MLB provides special moments on the field, Hankook enjoys giving drivers special moments on the road," he said. "We also value our military veterans and are pleased to provide a token of our appreciation by inviting a DAV member to the game."
