HANGZHOU, China—China's Zhongce Rubber Co. Ltd. (ZC Rubber) will celebrate its 60th anniversary on July 17 at its headquarters in Hangzhou with more than 1,000 global partners.
ZC Rubber, founded in 1958, has grown from a small factory that produced bicycle tires, with revenues less than $1 million, to become China's top tire manufacturer in terms of sales. Last year, ZC Rubber ranked as the 10th largest tire maker in the world, according to Tire Business' Global Tire Report, with 2016 sales of more than $3 billion.
ZC Rubber's portfolio includes passenger, light truck, bus, off-the-road, industrial and agricultural tires. The tire maker markets Arisun-, Chaoyang-, Goodride- and Westlake-brand tires.
The company said it is committed to sustainability and providing "the most suitable products to global consumers." Additionally, it is pushing to improve its global distribution network and service by launching the Auto Space retailer program in the China and Southeast Asia markets.
Further, ZC Rubber is aiming to become one of the leading tire manufacturers in the world. Besides its headquarters factory complex in Hangzhou, the company has one overseas plant, in Rayong, Thailand, and sales offices in North America, South America and Europe, including ZC Rubber Americas Inc. in Walnut, Calif.
