MADISON, Wis.—NIBA promoted Michael Battaglia to executive director from his previous position of associate executive director.

Battaglia has more than 10 years of experience in non-profit management, including marketing, communications, event management, membership engagement and information technology. He also serves as the director of marketing and communications the Construction Specifications Institute, an association for construction-building industry professionals and another Amped client.
"Michael has been a part of the NIBA team for over a year now and has helped lead the growth of the association," NIBA President Bill Hornsby said. "He's a great colleague and I'm pleased to welcome him on board as the new NIBA executive director to help lead us forward."
