NANTONG, China—Additive maker Hengguangda Polyurethane Material Co. Ltd. plans for its new plant in Nantong to come online within two months, according to Sales Manager Han Yusheng.
The plant's capacity includes 3,000 metric tons per year of stannous octoate, 5,000 tons per year of amine catalysts, 18,000 tons per year of silicone catalysts and 20,000 per year modified methylene diphenyl diisocyanate and other additives.
This is the company's second site after its headquarters in Suzhou, China. The Nantong plant was started in 2016 with an investment of $31 million. The project is expected to have an annual production value of $122 million when fully operational.
