TOKYO—Zeon Corp. is poised to raise prices for thermoplastic elastomer and hydrocarbon resins globally.
The Japanese supplier said prices for thermoplastic elastomer SIS—sold under the brand Quintac—will increase by $110 per metric ton, effective July. This follows an increase of $220 per ton placed on the same materials in February.
Additionally, Zeon said, the price for hydrocarbon resin materials with the brand name Quintone also will increase by $110 per ton next month.
The company statement did not provide a reason for the price hike.
