HANOVER, Germany—The German Design Council awarded the German Innovation Award to Continental A.G.'s ContiTech business unit's Trackman XP rubber track.
Trackman XP was recognized for its innovation and user benefits by the German Design Council, an independent, interdisciplinary panel of engineers and designers, according to a ContiTech release.
The U.S.-made product, with Armorlug technology, was acknowledged for technical quality and function with extended durability and a wire-ply construction, said ContiTech. The council also noted the product's anti-vibration technology.
Trackman XP is the original equipment choice on the Case IH Quadtrac.
Continental has received the award eight times for product innovations, the company said.
