HOWELL, Mich.—Chem-Trend L.L.C. has unveiled its Ultra Purge polyolefin, which extracts material residues that build up within hot runner systems and cause hang up spots in injection molded parts weeks after a color change.
The firm said its purging compound can also pull carbon chunks from hot runner systems, adding that Ultra Purge can boost efficiency in industrial packaging injection molding processes and reduce costs.
Chem-Trend said it invested extensively in research and development to produce grades of Ultra Purge that are compatible with a variety of hot runner technologies supplied by the world's leading hot runner systems manufacturers.
