WASHINGTON — Kimberly Kleine has joined the U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association as vice president of public affairs.
Kleine has nearly 30 years' experience in policy, public affairs and executive leadership, most recently as managing director of Burson-Marsteller's Healthcare Practice, the USTMA said.
Before that, she held numerous leadership roles at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, including the Office of the Secretary, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the Health Resources and Services Administration.
Kleine also consulted for several firms at the global public relations firm Ketchum, worked as a producer at CNN, and worked in the investigative unit of ABC's Primetime Live, according to the USTMA.
"We are excited to have Kim Kleine join USTMA," Anne Forristall Luke, USTMA president and CEO, said in a news release. "Kim's experience, energy and vision will be a great asset to our team, our members and the tire manufacturing industry."
