INDIANAPOLIS—The Association for Rubber Products Manufacturers has named Mike Recchio, vice president of corporate technology at Zeon Chemicals L.P., to its board of directors.
ARPM said Recchio brings a wealth of leadership and experience to the association. Recchio hopes to add his expertise to the areas that already make ARPM a tremendous asset to members and the entire rubber industry.
"As an ARPM member for the past seven years, I have seen the group grow in membership and service. I only hope to contribute in some way to the ongoing success of ARPM by serving on the Board of Directors," Recchio said in a statement.
Recchio has been working in the synthetic rubber industry for more than 30 years. He leads Zeon's research and development efforts and, for the past 25 years, has held various positions within the firm.
Prior to joining Zeon, Recchio worked as a chemist for Parco Inc., an O-ring, seal and custom molded parts manufacturer.
With more than 90 members, ARPM is a trade association managed by rubber business leaders that seeks to provide manufacturers with bottom line impacting programs, networking and additional beneficial services.
