OSLO, Norway—Elkem Silicones released the newest additions to its Lyndcoat range of tire-release agents, Lyndcoat BR2105 and Lyndcoat BR2205.
The two products were designed to deliver the company's newest clean, durable and slip-providing multi-release technology. By reducing build-up in the spray cabin, as well as on the bladders, base rings and molds, the release agents provide the conditions needed for clean tire production, Elkem claims.
Lyndcoat BR2105 and Lyndcoat BR2205 allow for low scrap rates and press downtimes, increased productivity and quality results, providing savings to the operation, Elkem said.
Elkem Silicones, which will be showcasing its latest developments at the Tire Technology Expo in Hanover, Germany, Feb. 20-22, also noted that it will partner with clients to provide tailor-made solutions.
