TWINSBURG, Ohio—Curbell Plastics Inc. has moved its Twinsburg location to a new, larger facility.
The Orchard Park, N.Y.-based plastics distributor, including compounds like polyvinyl chloride and thermoplastic elastomers, has about 40,000-sq.-ft. of warehouse space at the new site, about double what was available at the old location.
According to a news release, the firm's new location is at 8794 Independence Parkway in Twinsburg. A company spokeswoman said the old facility was at 1755 Enterprise Parkway in Twinsburg, which the company no longer leases. Summers said Curbell also is leasing the new facility. The company did not disclose the cost.
The new Twinsburg location opened on Feb. 5 with 16 employees. Summers said the company has already hired one additional employee and further growth is expected. The Twinsburg facility is the company's Tapes and Adhesives Center for the U.S. The news release highlights the cut center at the new location, calling it the company's largest. It has three saws to respond to customers' custom cut requests.
"The investment in additional warehouse space and cutting capabilities at the new Cleveland facility provides improved operational efficiency, allowing us to better serve our customers," said Dallas McLaughlin, Cleveland business manager, in the release. "Due to the geographic location, we will be able to improve response times to our Northern Ohio and Northern Indiana customers as well as others around the country."
