WAKEFIELD, Mass.—Alliance Tire Americas Inc. has restructured its operations, promoting Dhaval Nanavati to president to succeed James Clark, who left the company.
ATA Director Nitin Mantri said ATA, the marketing arm of Alliance Tire Group, has combined its sales, operational and leadership responsibilities for both the North American market and South American region, effective immediately.
Nanavati, who has worked in various roles for ATA since 2011,will oversee ATA's operations throughout the Americas, from Canada to Chile.
Clark, president of ATA since 2014, elected to leave the company to pursue other opportunities, according to the company.
Mantri said customer dynamics are changing, with competition getting fierce.
"We're confident in Dhaval's experience and leadership to continue and to build on ATA's multi-year history of delivering double-digit growth," Mantri said.
"Dhaval is well known to customers in both North and South America and is uniquely qualified to lead the ATA organization to its next level of success."
Nanavati most recently was vice president of aftermarket sales and as president of South American sales.
